Why “Not Just Bits”, why now.
During one of my first computer science classes at the University of Bologna, Antonio Natali, said something that stuck with me. He said:
You're not here to learn coding; you're here to solve problems.
Figuring out how to code and what language to use is the last step. This idea has always stayed with me, and it's what I share with my team.
Our focus is not writing software; we're here to be useful
I strongly believe that success in technology goes beyond knowing the latest coding languages, agile methods, or implementing AI in your business. It's about how technology helps businesses and the impact it creates.
So, after many years in the tech industry, I realized there's an opportunity for tech leaders to better understand the businesses they work with. This realization inspired me to create this space and call it: “Not Just Bits”.
I'm here to share information and show how technology and business can work together. I want to bridge the gap between these two worlds and make people see that understanding both is crucial.
If you choose to subscribe to the Not Just Bits Newsletter, you'll receive weekly bites of cool business, engineering and product tips from me. I'll also share links to articles or videos that I find interesting for those responsible for business technology.
